Project Portal

From unstructured Project data to Project Intelligence

Three separate example projects built the same way: owner project delivery, contractor progress reporting, and shutdown planning and execution.

Client portal

Owner view of a capital project: schedule, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, payments and reports.

Example: ore handling facility

Contractor portal

Contractor view: civil, tanks, bridging scope and installation progress, in the contractor's own branding.

Example: processing plant

Shutdown portal

Shutdown view: readiness gates, work-pack progress against the shutdown window, and a controlled handover back to operations.

Example: plant shutdown

What the portal does

Fifteen capabilities in three layers. The three examples above show most of them working; planned ones are marked as later phase in the portal.

01Data foundation

  • Standardised source filesOne agreed layout for each schedule, register and tracker, so every issue arrives the same way.
  • Structured dataFiles are checked and combined once into one dataset per project. Nothing is retyped into a page.
  • Smart taggingSubsystems, packages, activities and documents are tagged and linked across every source.
  • Automated checksEach file is validated and fingerprinted. A file that fails is held and the last accepted file stays in use.
  • Traceable numbersEvery figure traces back to its source file and revision.

02Intelligence

  • AI searchFind a subsystem, package, document or report in plain language, with the sources shown.
  • Specialist agentsAgents for schedule, cost, engineering, procurement and commissioning draft answers from the data. They cite sources and never decide.
  • Trend analysisProgress, forecast dates and cash tracked issue over issue, showing what moved and why.
  • Multi-data trend analysisSchedule, cost, progress and payment trends read together in one view.
  • Scenario builderTest a delay, a resource change or a new date, and see the effect on handover and cash before committing.

03Reporting and control

  • Exceptions with stated rulesEvery rating shows its rule, threshold and basis.
  • Decisions to outcomesEach risk, decision and measured result is linked and tracked.
  • Issued reportsPDF and Excel reports are generated from each project’s accepted data. Issued copies are never edited.
  • Progress to paymentVerified progress and the schedule drive incurred cost, payment dates and the cash forecast.
  • Role-based viewsOwner, contractor and shutdown views built on the same framework, each showing what that role needs.
